With the recent discovery of the Skin-tenna technology, signals will be sent over the body to connect the devices together rather than by batteries or other antennas. Unlike the two examples mentioned above, the skin-tenna is designed for less consumption of energy and less space. This new device could not only save a lot of people money but also that trip in to get a replacement or batteries put in. I mean who wants to go in every few years for replacements when they have something now that will last you much, much longer. I actually didn’t know much about this until I really researched it and found that the antenna would send signals over the body but it would also send a lot of signals out and away from the body, so you’re losing a lot of power that you could be using. But now, apparently, with this device worn around the hip, it would collect signals from a lot of implants like pacemakers and well, the photo really illustrates my point. If I ever have a problem with my body, this would definitely be the first thing I would consider. It saves money (gas, product, replacements), saves me time (trip in, replacements), and saves me from having to worry about when the next time I have to go in. This is definitely a score for science and health.
