Well guys, now the solution for your unexpressed emotions is there. Philips Design has prototyped two garments that incorporate electronics into fabrics and clothes under project SKIN that looks for emotional sensing. Bubelle, the ‘blushing dress’ uses two layers. Out of which, inner is equipped with sensors that projects wearer’s emotional changes onto the outer layer by igniting a private constellation of tiny LEDs to create various patterns and colors.
Hey! Aren’t you thinking about the bio-fabrics from J.G. Ballard’s 1970 story ‘Say Goodbye to the Win’? Anyway, there are only two of them titled under ‘Soft Technology’ outfits in Electronic Textile Development areas of skin and emotional sensing. If you decide to own one, then avoid facing those you hate, otherwise high energy can cause burnouts on dress.
