We are sinking into an era of robots, where robots will be everywhere and the humans will shy off from their mechanical counterparts, because their abilities will be good to overshadow us. This thought got a realistic appraisal when at Tokyo Tower, yesterday April 8, the world's tallest remote controlled two-legged robot showed off his walking and communication skills. Tsutenkaku robo, as the 1.7m (170cm) bipedal robot is called, is a creation resurrected to promote Osaka's symbolic Tsutenkaku tower. There isn’t much on what the robot’s all about but we can expect a heads-up on the bot when it is exhibited at the Shanghai World Expo in May.
