SimpleTech Flaunts World's Slimmest SSD
When ever we talk of small and thin the main gadgets that come in the picture are cell phones and DAPs.
But SimpleTech is introducing a new slim type Solid State Drive. The new drive has a storage area of 64GB and is just 9.5mm thick.
This 2.5-inch drive is just half as thick if compared to other drives in its class.
The company is targeting the drive at high performance applications such as military, intelligence and aviation. The company has also buffeted the drive against shock, humidity, vibration and altitude.
This SSD is so slim that it can easily be squeezed into the slimmest Laptops and the Flash Technology makes it more stable.
There is no news on the price of the drive but since it is super slim, we can guess that it will be bearing a not-so-slim price tag.
