New York's NextFest exhibition was on, scientists, and researchers from around the world are exhibiting their latest gadgets developed by them.

It has all the new ideas, which will take shape in near future and will become parts of our life. It has everything from the latest in airline tickets, to color on the wall to computer software for the people who cannot read.
The target for all this is next generation.
Children's development:

A color wall has been developed which changes patterns with a swish of the hand and Greg Roberts of playmotion says that they have got good preliminary results when tested were conducted with autism and mentally challenged kids. Interactive walls have a range of uses from art to advertising.
There are many examples of infrared activities at NextFest: on floors, walls and ceilings.
Life-saving straw:

It is a simple object for around $3, a plastic tube that can purify drinking water by removing bacteria and parasites. The technology has the potential to change the life of billions of people in the developing countries. The tube uses mesh filtration down to six microns, halogenated resin for disinfection and granular carbon, which improves the taste of water.
Airport Security:

Airline tickets will soon be RFID-enabled and contain snapshots of the bearer of the ticket. Taken at the time of check-in. with this RFID-tag the airport security people will be able to identify you instantly and this is great for security and for the passengers as well.
