Stemagen Corp may not be a famous name, but now it surely makes the news. The researchers at the laboratory claims to have cloned first mature cloned human embryos from single skin cells taken from adults. Embryos were grown from cells taken from the company's chief executive, Samuel H. Wood. However, some scientists from other parts of world did not consider it a distinguished effort. It is the same procedure, which was used to clone the fist sheep and mouse. But, the doctors are convinced that five of the new embryos are ready for transfer into a woman's womb for IVF treatments and such a degree of development in clones of adult humans have never achieved before.

As usual, this effort has also attracted some critical attention of religious groups opposed on moral grounds to using embryos for scientific research. Although there are many who questions the position of clones in human society, their legal rights, and also the morality behind doing

so, but researchers put it as an attempt to grow stem cells, which can help in curing many sever diseases.
