Shuttle recently showed off an X38-based SX38P3 Deluxe at Computex 2007. The latest product is claimed to have specifically been designed and refined to meet the users’ sole requirement. Featuring avant-garde FSB 1333MHz processor support and Shuttle’s state-of-the-art ground-breaking technologies like, Shuttle OASIS cooling technology, Speed-Link technology for quick and simple data transfer between 2 PCs, the SX38P3 is said to put back the SD37PV2 as Shuttle’s high-end Intel-based barebone system.
Besides, it comes with a single PCI Express x16 slot in conjunction with a vanilla PCI slot - something that was lacked in the SD37PV2 and got strong amounts of criticism for. Amusingly, the rear of the machine ostensibly clung to no legacy ports at all; in its place choosing six USB 2.0 connectors hoping that your input peripherals and printer have relatively been given upgrade recently. So, far there is no word on its pricing and availability, for that you will have to wait I don’t know for how long as there is also no word on it too.
