Blu-ray players keep coming in, and that to every half a year or so. Besides having speakers with the look of 70s sci-fi movie props, the Sharp BD-MPC70 is a 7.1 AV receiver integrated with a drive that reads and writes Blu-ray discs, DVD and even DVD-RAM discs. This «top of the line» model of their Aquos line is a 1-bit digital amplifier with 25 watts per channel, which also has Multi EQ XT, a technology that uses microphones to adjust the output constantly in order to have better quality sound. There's no word on US availability yet. It better does what it says for the $8,750 that is going to cost when it's released in Japan this June. The extra shot after the jump, nevertheless, is entirely free.
