Sharp unveils 10.1” 3D display to shape the future of Tablets et al

Earlier this month, Sharp made a dramatic entry into all things 3D with the introduction of glasses-free 2.4 and 3.4-inch 3D touchscreen LCD displays for smartphones, digital cameras and game consoles. Now, the manufacturer has amazed us again with the new 10.1-inch 3D screen made for e-Books, Tablets or Netbooks. These displays exhibited at the Sharp Press conference, would be made with or without touchscreen, but it’s sure they wouldn’t require the separate 3D glasses. Does this mean we could have a 3D iPad anytime soon?
