Large displays are my weakness; whenever I see them. I’m totally floored. Case in point this time is Sharp’s mammoth 410-inch LCD screen which the company showed recently at the Interop Tokyo 2010. The immensely large display made from connecting 30 6.5mm thick PN-V601 screens on the wall and 24 such screens on the floor was good to display life-sized images of even the largest of animals. The display of this magnitude is slated to make debut in August, but there are chances that we see such screens in airports, malls and other stations for advertising soon.
