Sharp develops 3D camera module to capture hi-def 3D video images

Sharp is all geared up to revolutionize the world of high-definition 3D video imaging. The Japanese electronics manufacturer has developed a 3D camera module for mobile devices like phones, digital cameras and netbooks. Developed using high-density mounting technology, the camera module incorporates functions such as Timing Synchronizing Processing to synchronize the timing of the video signals, color Synchronizing Processing to adjust color and brightness and Optical Axis Control Processing to correct positioning. In order to allow shooting image-popping HD 3D video at the earliest, Sharp begins mass production within 2010. Now, this is what I call a perfect device for that perfect shot.
