Smart textiles are in and you don't have to be a tech-geek to show-off your elegance with these. Sensatex has introduced the Beta version of its SmartShirt System that allows you to keep track of wearer's movements including real-time respiration and heart rates. Carved out of nanotechnology conductive fiber grid, the washable SmarShirt transmits data wirelessly through ZigBee technology.

Although, the SmartShirt aims at monitoring health of patients, it can also be used as a useful sports training and disaster management tool and even by defense personals on field.
