Scout: A DIY helicopter robot made in Legos

Each one of us draws our robotic fascinations from ways the bots work. ITP student Belisario Russell de la Torre is no different. The way he chose to differ was by creating his own robot to gratitude that fascination, and his creation the Scout becomes all the more special owning to the Lego bricks it’s made in. The 28-year-old student’s Scout is a small helicopter that has tilt-rotors fitted inside the Lego made exterior. The tested (in video below) version of Scout is fully running prototype, which for now weighs too heavy, which hiders the autonomous bot to lift of the ground. Russell would be installing a stabilizing system into the Scout to help the bot take to the skies soon.
