Scalar unveils new DG-3 handheld digital microscope

Scalar has launched its highly compact DG-3 handheld microscope. Scoring above the already launched DG-2A, it features a 3.5" LCD, a parfocal zoom lens that zooms from 25x to 1000x, and a 2.3 megapixel CCD sensor. The handheld microscope is priced at US$5780 and you can get the lenses for US$660.
