Sanyo has announced a new LCD projector capable of both short throw and networking abilities. Apt for classroom and professional use, the 2,000 lumens PLC-WXE45 LCD projector touts 1280×800 resolutions in a 16:10 aspect ratio. For the cramped spaces, such as the classroom the WXE45 can display 80-inch image from a distance of 34 inches, while the network interface built-in helps connect with wired networks, allowing professionals operate the functionalities remotely.
Adorning an instant on/off function and featuring a contrast ratio of 500:1, the projector also features color correction (to sync images accordingly with the projection base) and can also be used to send emails reporting the projector’s operating status. Accompanied by a PIN code feature for security, the $1,795 unit also includes VGA port and S-video connection, but there are no speakers included.
