Samsung puts it latest R700 laptop in shining black beauty along with a shower of features, which definitely helped it to stand away from that chirping market. The 17′ display with a resolution of 1440×900 makes it perfect for watching any HD movies, viewing your personal photos, and playing games that have intense 3D graphics. For that it’s equipped with the Nvidia GeForce graphics card.
It can be hooked to any HD television as its HDMI interface adds some extra number to it. It’s a sort of mobile multimedia system, equipped with a double DVD drive. That means it supports both, CD’s and DVD’s for playback and for writing. Other features include a 1.3 megapixel web camera, Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.0 and even WiFi. The battery apparently lasts 3 hours.
Even with such a big screen, it’s surprisingly only 3.18 kilos in weight. Along with pre-installed Windows Vista Home Premium, the R700 has been priced at $900.
