Samsung unveils world's first PCs with solid-state NAND Flash memory

Samsung has just rolled out two computers with NAND Flash memory. The first of its kind with solid-state flash memory PCs include Q1 and Q30 with 32GB of memory. As usual, the computers will be dawn first in Korea only in June.

However, the whopping price tag of over $2,400 will spin your head and so will the following cutting-edge technology that the solid-state disk (SSD) offers:

1. The SSD ensure highest level of data security against external shocks.

2. Data is retrieved much faster from SSDs.

3. The SSD reads 300 percent faster (53MB/s) and writes 150 percent quicker (28MB/s) than normal hard drives.

4. Ensures fast system booting, and

5. Is lightweight as compared to other disks.
