The first company to introduce a Blu-ray disc player and a leader in consumer electronics and digital media technologies Samsung Electronics will soon strike the markets with its newly unveiled dual format High-Definition (HD) optical disc players.
Samsung’s new Duo HD player model BD-UP5000 fully sports both HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc formats and other interactive technologies like HDi and BD-Java.
This Duo HD player model enables consumers to enjoy additional studio content such as trailers, director’s comments, more elaborate interactive menus and behind the scene footage.
It also joins Samsung’s next generation DVD models that includes Samsung’s second generation Blu-ray player to form a well-built line of High-Definition players to match Samsung’s award winning and best selling line of HDTVs.
