Samsung to unveil 6.5mm thin LED backlit TV at CES

Ultra slim HDTVs are coming to CES, and this time it's Samsung doing the honors. Measuring at only 6.5mm thick, these LED backlit TV panels will be seen at CES 2009. We’ve seen a lot of thin TVs hitting the fray, but these 6.5mm displays from Samsung could surely take the crown this time, if some other maker doesn’t have something thinner cooking under the hood that we haven’t seen yet. These ultra-thin Samsung LED TV panels will support 240Hz with color ControlPro promising a wide color spectrum. No mention on the pricing or availability yet.
