Samsung SyncMaster CX940UX: Igenuity multiplied

Posted By: Alpheus Danson | Sep 21 2007

Ever wondered how Hugh Jackman works on 5 different monitors displaying a continuity of images in 'Swordfish'? In the age of consumerism, people always seek 'more' in everything. 'Multi' is a fad, while 'niche' caters to the specialized markets. It is, therefore, befitting that Samsung has leveraged this trend to launch its SyncMaster CX940UX multi-display 19-inch monitor.

With input and output terminals, you can connect 6 displays and manage them at the same time, without having to install drivers or a graphics card.

The monitor incorporates two USB ports that act as a mini Hub. You can connect the monitor directly to the PC via USB. At the same time, the additional ports substitute for the used-up slots in the computer. So, the next time you find the ports in the CPU insufficient, you know where to go!!

The 22 inch cousin of the CX940UX will also be launched sometime next month. There has been no word about the pricing, but we know for a fact that the price wouldn't make any difference to graphic artists, who have been craving for such an ingenious device.
