Samsung has announced a new home theater system. The HT-AS730 pumps out 650 watts of power and is capable of auto-calibration to the selected room with the microphone. The 5.1 system can be upgraded to 7.1 and comes with features like 1080p video pass-through support, integrated iPod dock, FM tuner and the most popular and useful codecs, even though it misses out on the latest Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Blu-ray soundtracks. The system will be available this month for a price of $500.
