Samsung showcases world's largest see-through AMOLED screen at SID 2010

After flaunting its 14-inch transparent AMOLED laptop at the CES earlier this year, now Samsung goes a step ahead with the unveiling of what it calls the world's largest transparent AMOLED screen. Exhibited at the SID-2010, the 19-inch transparent AMOLED display can reach more than 30% transparency. In addition to the laptop, the technology can be used for hi-tech car windshield or an advertising platform at malls. Samsung is gearing up develop similar screens that will have sizes to up to 40-inches.
