Samsung’s 40nm-class, 32GB DRAM module for servers coming soon

It’s the need of the hour to have power and memory solutions that perform to potential without eating up too much of energy. With the need on the zenith, Samsung has come to the fore with the announcement of shipping samples of the industry’s highest density memory module for server systems. Samsung’s 40nm-based 32GB DRAM modules that are developed for advanced servers, which need high-density and high-performance abilities at low power usage, are based on 36 dual-die 40nm-class 4Gb DDR3 chips. The mass production of the highly efficient 32GB RDIMM would begin next month.
