Samsung reveals to the world its new Q1 EX UMPC. Designed in a league separate to a host of UMPCs delivered by Samsung over time, the Samsung Q1 EX is nothing really stupendous to brag of actually. But for the specs it flaunts an 7 inch touch display with 1024 x 600 resolutions just like its Q1 Ultra. Sans the QWERTY micro keyboard, the UMPC is powered by a 1.2GHz VIA Nano ULV U2500 CPU, completed with 2GB of DDR 2 memory and a 60GB HDD and a three-in-one memory card slot. Hiding a 1.3MP camera in the rear the shinning black device has a modest battery life of four hours. For connectivity options the UMPC has Bluetooth 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and GPS receiver, so I guess the entire combo of features isn’t bad for $780.
