Samsung Pixon12 M8910 is world’s first 12MP camera phone
Yet another "world’s first" from Samsung is as ever a headline grabber of the first order. Announced is the Pixon12 M8910, the world’s first 12MP camera phone, featuring a comparatively large, 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen. Including the touch auto-focus tracking through a 28mm wide angle lens and fast image saving, the camera can also shoot 720 x 480 resolution video at up to 30fps.

The Pixon12 M8910 being a quadband GSM phone with HSPUA, GPS and Wi-Fi, leaves the other smartphones gaping wide, with its highly efficient 12MP camera, which along with the aforementioned traits also has 10,000:1 contrast ration, a Power LED flash and 150MB of internal storage, that to accommodate the high-res imager can be easily extended to 16GB through a card inclusion in the MiroSD slot.
Clicking pictures with the phone is really simple and the quality and functionality goes without telling. For the photographers with a passion for phones, and for bloggers and entrepreneurs too the phone can be a handy grab. Using Samsung's SharePix, you can also upload the images onto your favorite social network site in a jiffy.
There is no word on the price and other enticing features of the phone, but to check out the real thing you needn’t have to wait any longer than August, when the Pixon12 M8910 could be made available.
