Samsung launches SCH W200 HSDPA slider phone
Apparently, the days of WCDMA are quite over with HSDPA spreading its tentacles. Following the track, Samsung has rolled out its latest HSDPA mobile phone, the SCH-W200, in Korea with SK Telecom. The SCH W200 slider phone is a complete multimedia package allowing users to enjoy music and video at 1.8Mbps of data transfer speed. It's the first mobile phone introduced with 'Dual Band Dual Mode (DBDM)' chip that makes it compatible with 2G, 3G and 3.5G mobile communication services.

The phone supports multitasking and allows users to enjoy mobile TV through Satellite Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (S-DMB). It also features a 2 mega pixel camera with auto focus, MP3, file viewer, text-to-speech (TTS) conversion and microSD slot.
