Samsung has recently announced a pair of new flash drives based on its 30 nanometer manufacturing process. The revealed duo is a 64GB moviNAND and 32GB micro SD. Featuring a new lithography technology, these memory cards are capable of storing more data in a comparatively smaller unit. The removable 32GB micro SD readied for phone or other portable devices is the highest capacity microSD ready for production measuring only 1mm thick. On the other hand the 1.4mm thick 64GB moviNAND features sixteen stacked chips and a storage controller making it apt to store twice the memory of the current modules. These high capacity flash chips will definitely revolutionize the memory expectance of smartphones and other mobile devices.
