Above all, the faster HSPA+ connectivity will be the big advantage of Samsung Hercules. The device’s HSPA+ speed highlights up to 42Mbps on downlink (Category 24 HSDPA) and up to 5.76 Mbps on uplink (Category 6 HSUPA). It is a record that most of other HSPA+ smartphones have not yet reached. Hence, once added with T-Mobile’s 4G network, Samsung Hercules will realize an amazing speed for Internet connectivity.

The T-Mobile smartphone will feature a Qualcomm 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage, NFC support and a microSD card slot. Its 8-MP rear camera is capable to capture 1080p videos. According to reports, T-Mobile will add a price tag of $350 for the smartphone, which is expected for purchase at T-Mobile stores by August this year.

Samsung Hercules indicates the growing significance of Android smartphone in the technology market. Huge success of the first series of Samsung Galaxy S smartphones has induced the South Korean technology maker and cellular service providers in the U.S. to act together to launch more similar phones. Samsung Galaxy S II series is a result of such an attempt. Indeed, the upcoming Samsung Hercules is a part of Samsung’s Galaxy S II series.
