Samsung debuts world's first 3D-capable portable Blu-ray player

Samsung debuts a new rage in the portable Blu-ray players in the Samsung BD-C8000. Besides being portable, this 10.3-inch display enabled player is touted as the world's first 3D-capable Blu-ray player. The Blu-ray player plays content at 1080p resolution and connects with the 3D TV via its HDMI cable. The only drawback of the BD-C8000 is the fact that it wouldn’t play 3D content on the go, unless it’s hocked up with a 3D TV. This doesn’t mean the player isn’t a big deal, the Wi-Fi enabled device flaunts three hours battery life, and when hooked up to a 3D TV it delivers perfect 3D content which can be viewed using the special 3D glasses. Other than the $500 BD-C8000, Samsung’s also announced three other Blu-ray players and HT-C9950W—7.1 channel 3D surround sound, iPod/iPhone dock.
