Samsung 30-nanometer DRAM chips to increase productivity, reduce power consumption

Samsung has come out with world’s first 30-nanometer dynamic random access memory (DRAM) chips. With this development, DRAM chips will revolutionize the way existing 40-nanometer DRAM chips have so far worked out. It will increase productivity by 60% and reduce power consumption to 85% than that of 40-nanometer DRAM chips. Samsung DRAM chips stores data in a separate electronic components within a circuit and will take considerably less space on the production line.
