MacBook Air got hacked in mere 2 minutes at the CanSecWest Conference and Microsoft had a laugh (not that they reported that they laughed, but common sense says so). Thursday saw the demise of the fancy MacBook Air and then Windows’ safest (what?) OS Vista got hacked. Vista got hacked using the flaw in Adobe Flash, one of the most popular 3rd party software for Windows. Firstly, the contest was bit difficult when only OS could be targeted, but second day saw some changes and standard applications were included. Apple got down due to flaw in Safari and Flash pulled Vista down. MacBook air (using Mac OS X, obvious) and Toshiba (using Vista) got hacked easily but the safest of them all stood strong. Yeah, Linux running on Sony Vaio remained the only unhackable of the three. I can see Linux snobs getting even worse.
Safest Operating System? Vista hacked, Linux Wins

This was on cards; there always exist one weak link which will change whole world for you that what happened for Microsoft vista. Known for its best operating system security wise, hacking has hampered Microsoft dreams to provide secure operating system to consumers.
Surely, as much I hate Linux snobs I also hate to admit that Linux indeed is most secure OS, though its still vunrable (what s/w isnt) but still, when it comes to security , nothing beats linux
and vista is more of a headache to user than being a secure OS
I have a problem with which OS is the safest. They let people choose which system they were going to hack. To really determine which is the safest, wouldn’t you need to have everyone working on one system until someone hacks it, then move on to the next to see if the time was faster. It’s also not realistic if everyone runs to Windows or Mac to hack and no one tries to hack Linux.
