Here is a mouse that is unique, because it is an example of what Russian modding community is really capable. A Russian modder has created a steampunk mouse that is straight out of the Victorian era. In order to get the Victorian look, the modder used different metals like bronze, and some shiny container for the mouse’s body. The scroller also has been designed to stay in the conventional place and has been designed to look as steampunk as possible. We all know that steampunk models and concepts aim to bring back the Victorian and early industrial age aesthetics to modern products. Recently we read about a steampunk mouse that had been designed by Unklian. Many modders suggest using mahogany for the mouse body and to buy a sheet of wood, 3″ X 36″. They recommend using the mouse base and PCB as a template and cut a hole in the wood with a fretsaw and sand it for a good fit. Scroll wheel can be constructed with a brass piece. The rest of the embellishments can be added with the help of shiny metals of your choice. One must wait and watch if a matching steampunk desktop could be created with a little effort.
