How about reading your e-mail from your computer bag, knapsack, or coat? Windows Vista proffers a new facet dubbed SideShow that lets a computer use a second screen to display information. And the most practical implementation of this feature has been done by Eleksen Group that showcased the Microsoft Windows SideShow based Wearable Display Module (WDM) at the CES 2007 show last week.

Wearable Display Module is in actual a thin color auxiliary display product for integration into soft-goods such as bags, backpacks and clothing. The WDM comprises a 2.46-inch Active TFT LCD screen, 1GB of data storage, and the soft fabric touchpad featuring dedicated Menu and back buttons to control applications and data display.
The users can connect their carry cases directly to their system that have Windows Vista installed and can have access to info like e-mail and applications from the exteriors of the bag without the need to open it. The orders for this WDM can be taken directly from Eloeksen this month.
