People are keeping an eye on the new variety of Apples to be unleashed in the 2006 Macworld Expo, San Francisco in January. But Apple has not allowed the cat to slip out of its bag. The upcoming products and offers are still undercover. But who can stop the Apple watchers to poke a little bit?
One which will interest all of us is that Intel chip embedded computers will be a part of Apple early next year; Apple PowerBook will start the crack. At present it only uses chips from IBM and other players. Intel’s dual core ‘Yonah’ processor will also be launched at the Expo which is a better performer with improved power consumption than the current Apple chips.
Will Apple be able to encash in the wake of the slow season, just after the holidays? But they don’t see ‘when’ but ‘what’, in which they are impeccable.
Another rumor in the line is about Mac Mini, Apple’s sub-$1,000 desktop line of diminutive computers, which is expected to be upgraded. Amongst these how can iPod be left out. May be a ‘iPod boom box’ is waiting to boom.
Keep guessing!
