Robovie–Nano: Smallest humanoid robot kit
Vstone has come up with a miniature humanoid hobby kit called Robovie-Nano, using 15 servos "VS-S020" as robots. It’s smallest in its class, only 23cm, almost half the size of its nearest rivals, Kondo’s KHR-3HV and Kyosho Manoi PF01 both measuring at around 40cm. Weighing in at 575g(1.26lbs) it truly justifies the nano part. Robovie comes with lot of add-ons, including optional exterior body to give it a makeover, grippers to pick up small objects, audio playback to enjoy the sound effects and LED options to give it a more dynamic appeal.

Robovie-Nano can perform front as well as sideways somersaults, has 15 degrees of freedom and has parallel link mechanism in its legs and knees. It has very user-friendly software and keyboard facilitating smooth responsive moves. Priced at $510, it is one of the cheapest hobby robot kits available. Robovie-Nano will be available in the latter part of September and will make for one cool Christmas gift.
