Robotic body parts to assist Human Beings

To have a dysfunctional body part may not be all that depressing for epileptic patients as they could now have a robotic limb assisting the malfunctioned part courtesy of the researchers at Osaka University. The researchers have until now succeeded in creating body parts that can be controlled by thought provided the necessary electrode sheets are affixed directly on the brain surface. People have shown a lot of willingness towards the entire procedure and a few of them have already enlisted to get those sheets implanted on their brains. This technology could go a long way in changing lives of people around the world.
