Death being the only certainty in life, we have but no way to keep ourselves associated with the ones who’ve met their fates. Robotics has made just about everything possible, and Oboe, another from the genre, is out to make memories of the elders stay with their families forever. The robot Oboe absorbs memories of an elderly person, keeping them safe for loved ones long after the person himself has gone. In order to immortalize memory, the Oboe spends time with elders, recognizing and imbibing their knowledge, experience and behavior, so that it can be shared with the forthcoming generations all along.
