A mechanical human-controlled lawn mower can transform into a self-acting, intelligent robot with a few silicon wafer additions. The brain of the RoboCut autonomous lawn mower is a BASIC Stamp and the rest of its body has motors, and detectors for Buried Wire Fence(BWF) identification, IR obstacle detection, drive motor control on/off enabling and related circuitry.
