We’re steadily gearing for a world where everything will be automated and labor free, and you know, that would be cheaper and way to efficient a process. To reach a stride forward in an endeavor of sort, ITM Technology from Korea has developed the Robo Cafe, a concept restaurant based on a robotic assistance that fulfills almost all necessary tasks in there. The Robo Cafe has a cute little robotic waiter which takes orders from all customers independently.

The robot visits each table and takes orders verbally and/or through a touchscreen placed on its belly. The order is then carried along and relayed to the kitchen from where it takes the ready food and drinks to the customer very efficiently. The creators have designed the Robo Cafe to be efficiently managed at minimum human workforce, and I think, with the robot’s minimum ordering errors and effectiveness in service they have managed to replicate a real world situation to a very large extent.
