RIM to bring out the Blackberry tablet with 1GHz processor and camera

If we are to believe the news mongers, then RIM might as well be targeting the end of this year to bring out a Blackberry tablet with 1GHz processor to catch up with Apple’s iPad endeavors. With Marvell’s 1GHz Armada 610 processor all set to make its way in, you could have full HD 1080p playback, 16-megapixel image captures, and advanced 3D graphics. In this 7-inch touch-screen endeavor, Marvell is also slated to supply the tablet’s baseband silicon.

Ashok Kumar, an analyst and managing director at Rodman & Renshaw said in a research note, "Research In Motion (RIMM, Market Perform) is trying to pull forward the launch of the 7-inch touchscreen tablet from early next year to year end...with a marginal point of differentiation being the front- and back-facing cameras for videoconferencing."
