RIM Blackpad is almost real, could be threat to iPad supremacy?

We laughed when Research In Motion registered Blackpad.com, thought it was just a curious step because the Internet is running out of address. But today Bloomberg has confirmed that RIM is closing in on their tablet PC that’ll rival Apple’s iPad. Dubbed the Blackpad, this tablet device is expected to make an appearance in November with tethering to BlackBerry handsets over a 3G connection. Speculated to be made available with other features similar to that of the iPad, the Blackpad would also be almost the same price as the iPad. Because it’s too early now to dub the Blackpad as the iPad competitor, therefore we’ll wait for some more details to float before we can make a conclusion.
