With the latest advancements in wearable technology researchers at Engineered Fiber Structures are about to develop an electronic glove that will be able to control all devices via Bluetooth.
The glove is produced from standard acrylic or nylon-based yarn, but will have miniature electronics embedded in them.
The fingers in the glove are tipped with contactors so you complete an electrical circuit when you touch two fingers.
When the circuit is complete the glove will transmit signal and the device which is set to respond to those signals can be controlled wirelessly.
According to the researchers who are involved in the project the device is complete on the fabric side and the control lines side, the only thing that they have to do is to minimize the electronics that are involved in the Bluetooth device so that the device can be easily embedded in the glove.
