Skin grafting is a terrible thing to do, but when one needs it, there is possibly no alternative and the patient’s bound to get it done. As a solution thus, researchers at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicines have developed an inkjet printer that’s capable of printing skin directly over a wound. The printer involves skin cells, collagen and blood coagulants which are sprayed on the wound to form skin when mixed at the print head, this technique is being expressed as replacement for skin grafts some time down the line.
