Researchers at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone in Japan are really doing a terminator thing by trying to control humans with an outside force. Researchers at NTT's Communication Science Laboratories have come out with a remote controlled headset that can 'force the wearer to move against his or her will.'

Inspired by science fiction and video games, the device though is no doubt innovative, but what's the use of such a device which morphs human beings into lump of fleshes moving like machines. Galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS) technology is used to reign over the part of human brain that control balance and movement.
Dr. Ian Curthoys, professor of vestibular function at the University of Sydney's Vestibular Research Laboratory, said:
At low currents, GVS selectively activates nerve cells in the peripheral vestibular system (the balance receptors in the inner ear) and such activation results in sensations and movements of the eyes and limbs, just as natural stimulation of balance receptors results in such movements. The authenticity of the GVS is argued and it seems unethical overall, but as you know, one man's meat is another man's poison it can be constructively used in medical science to treat balance disorders.
