We have the ability to do what we yearn, but many are dependent on others for daily chores, so self-reliance to them means only a word beyond comprehension. Immovability is destined, and assistance for the slight move becomes a must. Wit has played its mark, numerous help aids have been seen for the differently abled. From wheelchairs to beds and from stair-climbing assists to sticks with infinite utilities, we’ve seen them all, but like everything this is not the end. The Home Chare is a conceptual wheelchair, an introduction from Christen Halter to the never ending hope to redefine the core utility, taking it to a whole new level of usability.
What’s innovative:
The Home Chare is a comfortable mobile chair, which also transforms into a stair climber. The wheelchair designed with all posture considerations is equally comfortable for the user when sitting, standing or reclining. The chair has a container attached for human excreta, making it an ultimate combo device for the uniquely abled.

Watch this:
The user, once put onto the Home Chare, doesn’t need assistance any more. The chair reclines to become a sick bed and when the patient wants to move about it is a wheelchair again. Going up stairs is no issue either, leaving the wheels behind the Home Chare climbs the stairs, all so much at ease for both the patient and the attendant. We wonder if this concept will be backed to hit production someday, coz we need this for their comfort for sure.
