Now it will be possible to capture several video sources at the same time on your PC. The Buffalo’s PC-MV72DX/U2 (what a hard name to pronounce and to write can’t it be simpler) is a external box which will enable you to record up to 4 video sources at the same time.
It also allows you to encode them in Mpeg1,2 or 4 with its hardware encoder. The maximum resolution that you will be able to get with Mpeg2 and 4 is 720×480(DVD resolution).
The VBR for Mpeg 2 will come to 2 to 15 Mbps and 1to 10 Mbps for Mpeg4.
