RallyPoint has developed a new interface device for soldiers to control military hardware with simple hand gestures.
The new interface dubbed HCID or Handwear Computer Input Device is a glove that is incorporated with sensors that are able to sense the hand position and the orientation of the wearer.
The product is still under development by the company under development from the Natick Soldier Center (NSC). The device is intended to find use in heads-up displays, weapon control and even control unmanned ground vehicles.
