Radio-controlled Steampunk replica of the nautilus submarine is like the real thing

Using a 1/32 scale Disney Nautilus kit, developer Bob Martine has built this 66.5-inch radio-controlled Steampunk replica of the nautilus submarine from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The replica’s been built with all the internal lighting (like the real thing), and the striking looks of the sub were well catered to as well. Powered by lithium-ion battery, the sub is made water ready with a watertight cylinder. In order to give it a real-like feel underwater, the sub’s served with a servo control and ballast for buoyancy. More images of the well detailed Steampunk submarine after the jump.
