Qualcomm demonstrates first Snapdragon-based smartbook

Now here is what the manufacturing world is preparing to fill the slot between the netbooks and the smartphone, memorize it as the smartbook. Qualcomm is ready with one of its Lenovo made smartbook which they will launch formally at the Consumer Electronics Show this winter.

The mini-laptop is the first Snapdragon chipset powered smartbook. Besides this it is integrated with an ARM-based processor, 720p HD video capabilities, graphics and wireless connectivity. There isn’t a word on the price yet, but we learn that the smartbook has been patched with AT&T. With a size as thin as the Palm Pre the Qualcomm smartbook is expected to offer a HD capable display with a longer battery life.
