For students who get into college to actually study, I have some very good news. Princeton University Press has announced that it will start publishing textbooks in Kindle editions soon this fall with Robert Shiller’s new economics book “The Subprime Solution” being available on the Amazon reader exclusively on the e-format a whole two weeks before students can buy it in hardback. With univs like Yale, Oxford, and the University of California already on the Kindle radar, I guess it’s only a matter of time before college students all over the world can enjoy the benefits of not having to lug around back-breaking loads of books through campus.
